Technology that gets out of your way.
Nexcentric runs the IT, security and automation behind Australian businesses that can’t afford downtime. Proactive support, a real engineer on the phone, and AI put to work on the jobs your team shouldn’t be doing by hand.
- Local Australian team
- No lock-in contracts
- Flat monthly pricing
The technology we build on
Most businesses don’t have an IT problem.
They have an ownership problem.
When nobody is accountable for the whole picture, small issues compound quietly until one of them becomes an outage, a breach, or an invoice you didn't expect.
Without a real IT partner
- Tickets disappear into a queue and come back three days later
- Nobody owns the roadmap, so IT spend is reactive and lumpy
- You're told the backups are fine, but no one has restored from them
- Security is whatever the last provider left switched on
- Staff burn hours re-keying the same data into different systems
With Nexcentric
- Issues flagged and fixed by monitoring before staff notice them
- A costed 12-month roadmap reviewed with you every quarter
- Test restores run on a schedule, with a report to prove it
- Essential Eight maturity you can show an insurer or an auditor
- The repetitive work automated, with governance done up front
One partner for the whole technology stack
Everything below is delivered by the same team, on the same agreement. No hand-offs, no finger-pointing between vendors when something breaks.
Your competitors are automating. Quietly.
AI is not a strategy — it's a tool. We start by finding the processes that actually cost you money, then automate those. Governance and data controls go in first, so adoption doesn't create a new risk.
Start with an automation audit. We map how work actually moves through your business, then rank every automation opportunity by hours saved per dollar spent. You get the ranked list whether or not you engage us to build it.
Quote and proposal generation
Pull pricing, scope and terms from your own systems into a finished document in seconds instead of an afternoon.
Invoice and document extraction
Supplier invoices, delivery dockets and PODs read automatically and pushed into your accounting system.
Inbox and enquiry triage
Incoming enquiries classified, routed and drafted so nothing sits unanswered in a shared mailbox.
Onboarding and approvals
New starters, leave, purchase orders and sign-offs running as automated workflows with a full audit trail.
Switching providers is the part everyone dreads
So we made it the part we're best at. Four stages, no surprises, and you can stop after stage one with something useful in hand.
- 01
Review
A free 30-minute conversation, then a proper look at your environment — systems, security posture, licences, risks and the things that keep breaking.
You get: a written findings summary, yours to keep.
- 02
Simplify
Over-complicated stacks cause cost blowouts and security gaps. We design the simplest setup that meets your actual requirements, and cost it clearly.
You get: a costed plan with fixed monthly pricing.
- 03
Transition
We handle the migration end to end, including the awkward conversation with your outgoing provider. Rollout is staged to keep your business running.
You get: a documented environment and a clean handover.
- 04
Run & improve
Monitoring, patching, security and helpdesk from day one — plus a quarterly review where we agree what to improve next, in business terms.
You get: a quarterly roadmap and reporting that makes sense.
Local, accountable, and genuinely easy to deal with
We're small enough that you know who's looking after you, and structured enough to run enterprise-grade tooling behind it.
“Clients come to us frustrated by slow providers, disjointed systems and security risks — and stay because we bring everything together, explain things clearly, and make technology feel easy.”
Stefan VenterDirector, NexcentricYou speak to an engineer
No call centre, no offshore first line reading a script. The person who answers already knows your environment.
Flat, predictable pricing
One monthly fee covering support and monitoring. No per-ticket billing, no bill shock in a bad month.
Security in the base plan
MFA, endpoint protection, patching and monitoring are standard — not an upsell after something goes wrong.
Data hosted in Australia
Private cloud in secure Australian data centres, with the documentation to prove data sovereignty to clients.
Automation-first thinking
We automate the fix, not just apply it. Every recurring issue becomes a permanent one.
Trans-Tasman capability
Sister company NATC covers New Zealand, so businesses on both sides of the Tasman get one consistent standard.
Built for businesses where downtime costs real money
We work best with organisations of roughly 5 to 100 staff who depend on their systems to trade — and who'd rather have one accountable partner than three vendors.
Construction & trades
Site connectivity, mobile crews, plans and photos scattered across devices.
Manufacturing
Line-of-business systems that can't go down, and OT that must stay segmented.
Logistics & distribution
Warehouse Wi-Fi, scanners, and paperwork that should have been automated years ago.
Professional services
Client confidentiality, document control, and security questionnaires to answer.
Healthcare & allied health
Patient data, privacy obligations, and practice software that needs to just work.
Retail & hospitality
POS uptime, payment security, and multiple sites with no on-site IT.
Not on the list? Most of what we do is industry-agnostic — the differences are in compliance and the software you run. Tell us about your setup.
What it's like to work with us
In their words, not ours.
“Nexcentric just gets it. They simplified our whole IT setup, sorted our Microsoft 365 properly, and we finally stopped worrying about security. Local, responsive, and zero drama.”
“Switching to Nexcentric was one of the best decisions we've made. They scoped our needs properly, simplified our setup, and put real security in place. Stefan and the team are easy to deal with and actually follow through. We finally have IT that supports the business instead of slowing it down.”
“We were drowning in complicated systems and constant issues. Nexcentric cleaned it all up, gave us clear pricing, and now everything just works. Highly recommend.”
“Before Nexcentric we had a patchwork of systems that were expensive, complicated, and left us exposed. They took the time to understand how we actually operate, stripped out the unnecessary complexity, and built something simple and secure. Managed IT, cloud, and cyber are all handled properly now. It's rare to find a local provider that combines technical capability with genuine straightforward service.”
“Proper local support that actually understands regional businesses. Cyber security and cloud done properly without the big-city price tag or the runaround.”
“As a small professional services firm, we needed reliable Microsoft 365 management and solid cyber protection without paying enterprise prices. Nexcentric delivered exactly that — clear communication, simple solutions, and peace of mind. They're our local IT partner now.”
The things everyone asks before switching
If your question isn't here, ask it directly — we'd rather answer it now than have you guess.
How much does managed IT support cost?
Managed IT is priced as a flat monthly fee, most commonly per user, so the cost is predictable and scales with your headcount rather than your ticket volume. The exact figure depends on how many staff you have, how many sites and servers are in scope, and the level of security you need. We give you a fixed number in writing after the initial review — no per-ticket billing and no surprise invoices.
Do I have to sign a long lock-in contract?
No. We work on rolling agreements with a short notice period. We'd rather keep your business by doing the work well than by making it painful to leave. If you do leave, we hand over full documentation of your environment.
What happens to our current IT provider?
We manage the transition, including requesting credentials, documentation and administrative access from the outgoing provider. It's a conversation we have regularly and you don't need to be in the middle of it. Migration is staged so your business keeps operating throughout.
How fast do you respond when something breaks?
Response targets are set by severity and written into your service agreement — a site-down event is treated very differently from a single-user request. Because monitoring is proactive, a significant share of issues are picked up and resolved before anyone raises a ticket.
Can you work with our existing in-house IT person?
Yes, and it's a common arrangement. We take on monitoring, security, after-hours cover and project work so your internal person can focus on the systems specific to your business rather than being the only line of defence.
Is our data kept in Australia?
Our private cloud infrastructure is hosted in secure Australian data centres, and we can provide documentation of where your data resides for clients, insurers and auditors. Where you use public cloud services such as Microsoft 365 or Azure, we configure Australian data residency where the service supports it.
We're interested in AI but nervous about the risk. Where do we start?
Start with an automation audit rather than a tool. We map your processes, rank the opportunities by hours saved per dollar spent, and put data governance and an acceptable-use policy in place before anything is switched on. That way AI reduces risk and admin at the same time, rather than adding a new exposure.
Which areas do you service?
We're based in Gympie, Queensland and support businesses across Queensland and Australia. The majority of support is delivered remotely, with on-site attendance arranged where the work genuinely requires hands on hardware. Our sister company NATC covers New Zealand for trans-Tasman businesses.
